Zumba Fitness with Tamara Boivin

Zumba is Perfect For:
Everybody and every body! Each Zumba® class is designed to bring people together to sweat it on. Any body type, any fitness level...all WELCOME!

How It Works:
We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check.

A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.

Zumba comes in many forms and can meet the needs of everyone, especially through our Zumba Specialties.

 I teach weekly regular Zumba (dance fitness), Zumba Toning (dance fitness with weights/strength training and HIIT), Zumba Kids (ages 4-12), Zumba Sentao (dance fitness and strength training with use of a chair) and Zumba Gold Seated (dance fitness while sitting down/low impact to old time music at a seniors centre)

I have 2 weekly classes for regular Zumba, Tuesday evenings and Wednesday evenings (info in left column)

Zumba® Fitness- 75 min Sampler Class

"Maximize your workout with this 75 min class! Combining Zumba® Fitness with some of the other Zumba Specialties like Zumba Toning, Strong by Zumba.  Having fun moving our bodies, making new friends, adding more strength and endurance components with some interval training/HIIT...a class like this is sure to get your body/muscles/metabolism responding while we have FUN doing it. Bring water, towel, and yoga mat."

Zumba Fitness "Variety" Class

We are adding a class that has all the components of Zumba and its Specialties we LOVE!!!!  Dance, Toning, Strengthening, HIIT and Stretching.  Come join us on Saturdays (see schedule listed in left column).

Zumba® Fitness/Zumba® Toning

This Zumba® Fitness combo class is an "easy to follow" dance fitness program sure to get your heart rate up and bigger smile on your face, with an added component of strength, endurance, toning, and flexibility with the use of specially designed toning sticks during parts of the class.  This class is easily modified and/or intensified, so any fitness level and body type feels welcome, while we get your body/muscles/metabolism responding and you having FUN.


Zumba® Toning:

When it comes to fitness, letting go of weight and toning your body are two different things. That is why Zumba Toning was created.

Zumba toning combines the typical high energy Zumba moves (for a cardio workout) with body-sculpting exercises to create the perfect full-body workout. The use of “toning sticks” is what makes Zumba Toning different from a regular workout. The toning sticks are similar to maracas and are used to enhance rhythm and sculpt your arms, abs, back, glutes and thighs.
